After a week of driving to San Antonio each morning, then driving back to Austin in the evening, I have had enough time to gather my thoughts, edit my photos and develop my opinions.

From one day to the next it can be easy to become infatuated with a prospect after a big day, or get too low on a guy because of a poor showing. But after taking a holistic approach, here are some of my favorite players after this past week.

QB Bowe Bentley at the Navy All American Bowl

QB Bowe Bentley - Uncommitted - 2026 (No. 289 NATL)

I saw a lot of good things from Bentley over the course of the week.

  • Great feel for the pocket

  • Excellent mobility navigating the pocket

  • Scrambling threat

  • Excellent timing

  • Reads the field well

  • Overall playmaker

The last point is something I could go on and on about. Bowe is a gamer, a guy who is gonna take whatever the defense gives him—through the air or on the ground. He is quick on the ground and during the game his legs extended drives in crucial situations. Bowe was inserted into the lineup during the final drive of the game, as the East team looked to steal a victory with less than two minutes left in the game.

That trust from the coaching staff to let Bentley go out there and do his thing spoke volumes to me. Keep an eye out for Celina (TX) football in 2025, as they look to repeat as state champions with Bentley at the helm.

LB Tyler Atkinson at the Navy All American Bowl

LB Tyler Atkinson - Uncommitted - 2026 (No. 10 NATL)

The talented linebacker from Georgia made plays all week long, and came up with some key tackles during the game. Atkinson is a rangy linebacker who is capable in both run support and pass coverage. He is built well and more than held his own against some of the best players in the country. While he has not committed his future to a school at this point in time, top programs around the country will be calling for his signature come December.

Clemson DL signee Amare Adams

DT Amare Adams - Clemson - Signed (No. 47 NATL)

A force on the interior, Adams was very disruptive all week, no matter what the setting was. Between walkthroughs, scrimmages and one-on-ones, offensive lineman had trouble containing Adams. It was no different for the game on Saturday.

Adams has quick hands and the strength to surge through the middle, and is able to stop the run as well as rush the passer. Adams was arguably the top defensive lineman all week and has elite traits for an interior lineman. Adams will aim to follow in the footsteps of many successful defensive tackles who have gone through Clemson’s program.
