A cold front swept into Texas last weekend and has made outdoor practice conditions less than ideal for many players. This morning, rain and snow have made their way to the Lone Star state. The rain has forced practice to be indoors for both teams.

Unfortunately there will be no interviews today, but I still have lots from yesterday.

Team East kicked off the morning with install and walkthroughs, ending with a small scrimmage.

Team West’s practice after lunch was filled with one-on-ones and sevens. There were plenty of great plays today to cap off a makeshift practice schedule.

Small Takeaways

This is mostly what I was able to gather all day, as the limited live reps limit some bigger takeaways.

Memphis quarterback signee Antwann Hill Jr. has a cannon. He made some good throws today. He is also very mobile and is not afraid to quickly pull the ball down and take off.

Iowa defensive lineman signee Iose Epenesa is one of the most disruptive defensive linemen in San Antonio, but his versatile. He makes things happen on the inside or off the edge.

Uncommitted 2026 quarterback Bowe Bentley is growing on me. He is very mobile, but slightly smaller in stature. He has a pretty quick release and makes things happen outside the pocket.

Texas A&M offensive lineman signee Lamont Rogers is not only a massive human, but he moves people. In one rep he drove a defensive lineman back seven yards from the line of scrimmage. Rogers was recruited as a tackle and will play tackle in College Station, but has been playing guard all week.

Navy defensive lineman signee Garrison Dibble made some great plays in the backfield, quickly making tackles after coming down the heel line from the backside edge. He’s got great speed for an edge rusher.
